Well, we're trying something different. Besides adding Pets and Seasons to my game, I've divided the groups. While this hood is all about 19 sims and their families, it is a little confusing to jump from one family to the next within one update. So I've tried to streamline the story-telling process and created a journal for each household.
This will serve as an index and hopefully point in the right direction for the most recently updated houses. If you haven't seen how it all started, the links to the Backstory and their College Years are noted below also.

The Yearbook
When we last saw Robert, he had become one with a sparkly ship in the sky...
but never fear, he was returned to the curb outside his hacienda in one piece much later that same night. From his expression, I don't think he enjoyed the trip!
When we last left Jamie and Will's house, Jamie was shaped like a beach ball, and Will had just made his LTW of 20 best friends. Now that these two social butterflies could relax a bit, Will's finally realized that his fiance is great with child.
How's my big slugger today? hmmm - any kicking?
As our program participants are about halfway through their adult lives, I'd thought I'd take you all on a bit of a tour through the neighborhood to show off their houses. And play a little game that I like to call "Did she save that??"
Nothing fancy here mind you, but still a good bit better than the lawn living they started with.
(Disclaimer: These are not professionally landscaped, nor decorated. These folks are still fairly poor and concentrating on raising families - not providing me with great quantities of Simoleans to spruce up their livingrooms. My humblest apologies to any award-winning decorators out there - and you know who you are!)
Well, when we started this program, we dumped all these Young Adults into a couple of dorms & let them all start as knowledge sims, just to get a few basic skills under their belts. We made a lot of headway into meeting NPC's, but didn't let any amorous relationships start until after the "Sophomore Roll". Some of the girls decided that there wasn't enough kissing going on, so as I would instruct them to greet a visitor, it went more like this...
I understand from Agent Z's last report that there has been an increase in physical interactions amongst the students."
 Theresa:"Really, Rob - try this! WMAH! It's the latest thing - everyone is doing it! (to self) you've been needing that for 2 years now, Yeah me!"
Now this kind of stuff just cracks me up - here's Brandon Lillard, a recent datee of Dawn's, dropping off a bouquet of roses for their dream date, while husband Dwight is just behind him on the porch. *eyeroll* Not the sharpest tool in the shed, are we Dwight?!
Not that Dawn's slowed down any, but she's become a little more discrete, usually going downtown to hang out with friends after Dwight & Belle are asleep.
When we last came around Auk's house, she & Derek had just gotten married and they were working on starting a family. We should probably knock first, they seem to spend a lot of time walking around in their underwear.

Well, we've come back down the the last four in our group again, and I'm including this shot because I'm so durn proud of him! Robert really has kept his nose to the grindstone, so to speak, to earn his Impossible Want, and as distasteful as it may seem to us mere mortals, he's done a great job.
Hi! My name is Suzie & I'm a sim addict. It's been too long since I've simmed and even longer since I've updated my sim's stories. They're starting to feel sorely neglected & I don't blame them.
So with no further procrastination, we'll get right to it!

Yes, we're up to Jamie. Jamie is engaged to Will & they're both popularity sims, which means there's a new friend everyday, and a party almost every night. But they always leave time for each other at the end of the day...

When we last saw Dawn, she and Dwight had just gotten married on a whim, down at the JP office. Dwight was anxious to start a family right away, and from the looks of things, their honeymoon was successful in that regard.

Suzie walked outside and stood in the fresh air for a minute, trying to control her breathing & the knot in her gut. She looked again at the poster & glanced over the charges. There was no mistaking that face, sure, he'd shaved his mustache & vampire eyes were gone, but she knew first hand how easy devamping was.
Welcome back to Auk's house. If you remember, she'd been counting the days until Derek finished up at school so they could be married and the day has finally come.

Thank you! The dress cost a small fortune, but I'm only doing this once, you know. I hope Derek is ready. I've got to go out there now, I think I hear people arriving. I'm SO excited!!
Wrapping up the 'hood and week #2, we have Robert, SuziC, Suzie and Theresa.
When we last saw Robert, he was finally in the right career path & happily dating his way through his phone book. And he's obnoxiously close to hitting his Impossible Want of 30 loves at once.

We've worked our way up to the J's, so we're visiting Jamie first today.
When we last saw Jamie, she had just made her LTW of being elected Mayor of Simtoria. She did a little soul-searching & decided to turn her hobby into her career & concentrate on being a Celebrity Chef. With her political background, speaking in front of a live audience would be no problem.
Well Jamie, the cooking skills are no longer a problem. But you've got about 15 hours before your next shift to get the last two creatvity skills. What's a sim to do?
Well, we're back for the next round of updates. Yes, everyone's still getting their new beds, and yes, it's still causing some embarrassing situations.
But let's start with Dawn, where a cab just pulled up infront of her mailbox...
Dwight! Oh - it's so good to see you. But what are you doing here? Is everything OK?
For the sake of saving my sanity & with due consideration to everyone's memory banks (comment space too), I'm cutting down on the number of Sims in each update. We're currently following 19 simmies around their spectacular little lives & I'm going to continue their updates in groups of 4s & 5s.
I also have been buying our sims an "autonomous bed" now that they're all grown up and responsible. I was not always very good about changing the settings right away, which has created some awkward moments with our sims going about their business naked. And has made a few of our sims rather single-minded. I know I've learned my lesson.
So, without further adooooo, we'll stop by the first five to see how their second sim week is treating them.
Don't look now Auk, but somebody is trying to sneak up on you!
Welcome back! This is where we left off - our Young Adults had moved onto their empty lots. They got jobs and a phone, and that's about all.
The large lot in the upper right corner is the local Farmer's market. The only other building in sight is the local FBI office and now that you know where that is, they'll have to kill you. (hehe)
